How does the booking process work?

Once you send an Inquiry form, our team will review it and send and email back with pricing and availability.

When you are ready to go ahead with booking and let us know we will send you a proposal consisting of a contract and invoice with all totals and information through a booking system called Honeybook. It is quick, easy and all electronic. The contract can be viewed and signed electronically, as well as the invoice.

The non refundable deposit can be made through Honeybooks secure credit card handling system, or an e-transfer to borlasebeauty@gmail.com. The CC Handling system can also be set up at this time for an automatic payment of the final total at its due date to take one less worry off you!

Once the contract is signed and the deposit is paid your date and artist(s) are secured and you are now a part of the Borlase Beauty family!

Is there a Deposit Required?

Yes, a Non Refundable deposit is required upon booking to confirm your date. This deposit is anywhere from $200-$400 depending on the type of booking.

This deposit covers your date as well as your trial fee if required.

What happens after I book?

Once you have signed your contract and paid your deposit, our team will reach out to book a trial date. This ensures that your artist will have optimal availability for you.

After trial booking we will reach out about a month before the trial to confirm the date once more, we will then also be confirming final details for the day (Timing, Add on Services, any changes needing to be made)

At this time our team will compose a rough draft schedule of the day and send it out for approval.

Your artist will complete your trial on the agreed date and take reference photos to have for the day!

Before your 30 day change cut off we will re confirm all changes and send out the final invoice, as well as the final approved schedule.

The Monday before your wedding our team will send out a checklist for you and your party to do/have for the big day!

Your artist will show up about 15 minutes before the first scheduled appointment to set up there station, they will glam everyone and this is when you sit back, relax and get ready to get MARRIED!!!

How do the trials work?

Trials are booked 2-3 months before the wedding date, due to the high demand in bookings we only offer trials to booked brides.

Some of our artists have home salons you can go to for the trial dates if desired, if you would like for the artist to come to your home we can definitely accommodate that as well! there will be an extra travel fee if the artist will come to your location.

Trials are reserved for the brides (you) to make sure that you are getting exactly what you would like for your big day, it is a great time to try out your look and see if there are any changes you would like for the big day! We do understand that sometimes the mothers would also like a trial this is something you can request and will be accommodated based on the availability of the artist.

How/When do we decide a schedule?

A rough draft Schedule for the day will be started about 3 months before your date. Please let us know what time you would like to be ready by and we can base your schedule off that.

We recommend leaving "buffer time" in between your ceremony and getting ready, please factor in travel time if needed, getting dressed time, and the one bridesmaid that will forget something and need to grab it. if your ceremony is at 4:30 you do not want the last person finishing hair and makeup at 4:30 when you should be walking down the isle. Instead have your ready time be 3:30 so you have an hour to change, drink and not stress!

Our team will ask if there are any requests for order, this is for someone who may be coming later, or has a task or duty that needs to be done at a specific time, we also recommend you let us know if some of the party will be there overnight and therefore are the best choice for going first. We will fill in the schedule from there to fit and make sure everyone is getting done on time!

How long does each service take?

Each service takes roughly between 45min to 1 hour. (bride may be 1 Hour to 1.25 Hours your schedule will reflect the time needed by the artist.

Please make sure all guests arrive 15-20 mins before there scheduled time to ensure the schedule stays on time!

Each Service takes between 45 Min to 1 hour depending on Look, Thickness of hair etc.

What time should I be ready with hair and makeup?

We recommend to be ready no more than 1 hour before your ceremony time, this give you time to get dressed, have a drink, not stress, as well as give you a buffer for any unforeseen issues.

Is there a list of things myself and my party needs to know before the day?

We do have a checklist that will be sent out the Monday before your date. If you would like to take a look at it beforehand please click the link below.
